In Morocco they were classical musicians, yet in Israel, the society did not accept their bread through unskilled labor.

Many years later, a new and educated generation of Magreb descendants has raised its head and established the Andolosean Orchestra which plays the music of their country of origin.

The wave of immigrants from the former Soviet Union in the early 1990's brought many musicians to Israel, some of whom have joined the Andolosean Orchestra, creating a unique blend of east and west.
